When David Moin, Senior editor WWD, was in town to work with me on the Nordstrom's story, he discovered Madison Park, so a few months later I got the assignment to spend a few days wandering around Madison Park. I used to go there from time to time with an old friend and legendary writer, Emmett Watson.
It was almost Karma I would get this assignment Emmett had passed away and I was thinking about him.
